For these mysterious mavens of XXX, creating content while remaining anonymous only adds to the sexual intrigue.
In porn, we’re used to seeing every aspect of a performer’s body—sometimes even the inside! While a vast majority of adult stars show their faces on screen, a select few choose to hide their identities, whether it be to keep their spicy side private from those in their day-to-day lives or simply because they love the idea of anonymity while getting down and dirty.
HUSTLERMagazine.com rounded up four performers who show us that you don’t need to see someone’s face in order to come hard!
HUSTLERMagazine.com You’re a faceless/anonymous creator! How long have you been doing this for?
Sweet Whiskey J: Seven months.
Mrs. Betty Darling: I’ve been creating content since May 2022. I started on OnlyFans, but then learned about clip sites, and those quickly became my favorite to work on! I show the bottom half of my face, and obviously the rest of my body!
TheJellyFilledGirls: Since we first started back in 2019. We started off doing this part-time up until late 2020, took a break for three months and then came back full-time as of 2021. It’s been our full-time career ever since.
Cullen Pike: I shot my first scene on 8/29/2017, so we’re coming up on seven years.
What factors went into your decision to not show your face on camera?
Sweet Whiskey J: I am a teacher, daughter and mother of adult children. I do not want to lose my job that I truly love, my parents are staunch Catholics, and I do not want my children to be embarrassed. I want to enjoy my life, feel beautiful and please others. I am a natural pleaser, and the tribute to my content causes pleasure in me.
Mrs. Betty Darling: When I watch porn, I prefer to watch faceless creators. I generally want to imagine a specific person, so I don’t want to see the performer’s face. I knew if I was going to go the faceless route, I’d want to have some kind of a niche to set me apart. So, adopting a 1950s housewife persona was a perfect fit for me!
TheJellyFilledGirls: At first this endeavor was meant to be a short-term side hustle that would allow us to save up a little bit while doing something that we feel good about (sharing real WLW [Women Loving Women] intimacy). As we both had full-time jobs at the time, we didn’t feel the need to reveal more than what we were already showing. But when we saw how much people loved it and the creativity we put into it, they were hungry for more and it turned into our brand.
Cullen Pike: At the time, POV porn was really popular. In the beginning, I only had one camera, so that’s how it started. There was no reason to show my face. Since then, I’ve had a lot of fans tell me that my “everyman persona” is a big draw to my content. I do have personal reasons for not showing my face, but the biggest reason why I stay “anonymous” is to keep up the idea for guys watching that it could be them having sex with their favorite porn star. That’s my schtick….I try to do the kind of POV content that the viewer can place themselves in.

Why do you think that not showing your identity is such a turn-on for your fans?
Sweet Whiskey J: By being a faceless creator, I can be anyone to my viewers and fans. I can be anyone you want me to be in this way.
Mrs. Betty Darling: I think for the same reason of why I like it. They want to imagine it’s someone they know. And also the mystery of it. Could I be the person sitting next to you on the subway, or the woman shopping in the produce aisle? The idea of prim and proper in public, and a woman with a dirty mouth in private has been a turn-on for viewers. (So I’ve been told!) I think keeping some things a mystery adds to the excitement of the act.
TheJellyFilledGirls: There are many factors, including the mystery, being able to visualize whoever you want and not being distracted by facial expressions. Also, the fact that it turned into a recognizable brand became very appealing to our audience.
